BEYONCE DOES PROM... COMING JANUARY 2008

Now teens can adopt Beyoncé's style for their prom dress.


The singer-actress and her mother, Tina Knowles, are relaunching their House of Deréon brand this spring as a high-end contemporary dress line — and many of the styles are based on what Beyoncé Knowles has worn on stage, making them perfect for the prom.
When you think of Beyonce's style, no doubt your first thoughts turn to bling and extravagant eveningwear, so it's no surprise that she's now turning her hand to dressing girls for prom. House of Dereon, the label she created with her stylist mother Tina Knowles, originally hit the shelves as a contemporary denim and sportswear line, but it's now going to be relaunched with a new focus - high-end formalwear.

Apparently, Tina Knowles gets stopped by girls in the street asking her to make their prom dresses, and though she doesn't have time to do that, she is helping them out with this new range!

When they go on sale in January, the cocktail and formal dresses will retail from $150 upwards.
